Bobbi Brown’s Basic Life Rules

The other day, my girlfriend was reading a book and she started talking to me about some life rules that were included in it. These are from makeup artist Bobbi Brown, thanks to these rules she was able to achieve a successful life.

So, I tough it was worth the chance of writing about them. Enjoy!

“Nothing looks better than a big smile. Everyone has ups and downs, but it’s important to stay focused on what makes you feel good. These rules have never failed.”

RULE #1: BE NICE

The more you give to others, the more you get.

RULE #2: TELL THE TRUTH

It’s not just the right thing to do, honestly also saves time. Life is just simpler and easier when you are truthful with others and with yourself.

RULE #3: TAKE RISKS

Sometimes it’s crazy but it helps you to grown up.

RULE #4: NEVER GIVE UP

Never let NO become the final answer.

RULE #5: BE ON TIME

No one likes to be kept waiting, But if you are going to be more than five minutes late-call.

RULE #6: BE OPEN

To any opportunity life gives you.

RULE #7: CARE ABOUT SOMETHING

Sports, music, politics, anything you like but get involved and get active.

RULE #8: GIVE BACK

Find a cause that’s meaningful to you and make it your own.

RULE #9: WORK HARD

Start at the bottom and learn all you can. Be strong. Don’t get upset when things don’t come to you right away.

RULE #10: LOOK PEOPLE IN THE EYE

It shows confidence.

RULE #11: DREAM BIG
